ABOUT ME
Carlos Nunez was born in New Orleans, LA, with parents of Colombian decent. He was raised half his life in California, and the other half in Florida where he resides presently.
Carlos started photography as a child which was the start of his creative juices. Throughout high school he would venture into different types of arts where one day he was actively involved in the hip hop scene, always being at graffiti art, breakdancing, and DJ-ing events. While being in highschool he had stopped going to these events and focused mainly in school and studying psychology.
Once he graduated, Carlos started studying psychology, and at the same time minoring in business, later becoming a business major. During this time Carlos was at a lost in what he truly wanted to do.
One day he was asked by a friend to take some pictures for his website. This is when the creative bug bit him again. During this time, Carlos started looking into different designers, clothing designers, video effects artist, and photographers. This woke him up to his true calling and what made him decide to look for different design schools.
He then attented Full Sail University where he got his Bachelor degree in Digital Arts and Design. During his time in college, he started creating a network outside of school. In doing so, it propelled him into getting a lot of outside work which created a knowledge how the industry works as a freelance artist. At the same time he started colaborating with people outside of his degree, being a graphic artist or editor for music videos, or being a lead artist for musicians who needed press kits. To this day, Carlos is still an active worker in the fields of design, video editing, motion-graphics and photography.
